After paying a visit to the Finders Keepers Designer Market, I had been keeping an eye on more designer markets that are to be held in Melbourne.

Again, with the help of Facebook, I discovered Markit that was to be held at Federation Square. Since it was only a 1-Day event, I marked it down on my calendar just so that I wouldn't forget it.

Markit gathered 100 independent designers across Australia to show off their masterpieces.

This is why I love designer markets because you get to admire the creativity and art in all forms.

I bought NOTHING again...HAHA...All because everything was quite pricey T_T

To my surprise, the event wasn't as big-scaled as I imagined, I doubt there were 100 stalls for 100 designers though...

Anyway, I did have a great 45-minute "window shopping" over there and took all these photos!

Looking forward to visiting the next designer market in Melbourne :D

I was very lucky to be chosen by Fairmont Hotels to come up with an outfit post for a Wine & Dine event at their San Jose Hotel

The invitation was too surreal for me because I have never imagined that one day I would be invited to write a fashion blog post, let alone being contacted by such a prestigious hotel like this!!!

So here is my take on it.

Since I am not very tall, I do not have the privilege to be able to pull off those long dreamy maxi dresses T_T That's my dream though...to be able to wear a Tiffany blue maxi dress.

Although purple is not on my favourite-colour list, I cannot deny the fact that purple does give out an elegant and mysterious vibe.

A pair of minimalist white heels goes well with nearly everything.

I like the fact that this dress has a very significant layering design and that really spices up the look without needing any accessories at all.

Also, as the dress has a very special design around the neck, I didn't want to go overboard with some excessive and unnecessary necklaces and earrings.

I only wore a silver watch to keep the elegance of the entire look.

My tip for girls who are around my height - 1.6m, I encourage you to wear a dress of the length that is not over your knees so you can keep the illusion of long legs :p Go with heels as high as possible because that will just make your legs appear even longer and slimmer. Too bad I am having a constant backache these days, if not I would definitely opt for taller pair of heels.

Shot this set of photos at the State Library with the help of my housemate, who's my personal photographer and I love her!!

#Throwback post to my mid-semester break holidays. YEAP, when you have a whole load bunch of coursework to catch up with, you just wanna procrastinate by blogging.

At least this doesn't really seem that much of an useless procrastination, right? RIGHT?????

I found out about The Finders Keepers Design Market on Facebook and I knew that I had to go.

I have always loved places like that, just like the St Kilda Sunday market. All those talented artists with their masterpieces up for display and for sale - there's nothing better than looking at those amazing pieces of work while hoping that you can actually buy each of them back - okay, so I admit, another thing better than that is actually being able to buy everything back HAHA!

The Finders Keepers Design Market was held from the 2nd - 4th of October at the Royal Exhibition Building. Yes, that god damn place where us, as Melbourne University students, have our exams. We call it the place where dreams are crashed! On the side note, this is also the place where people come to take their wedding photographs and even the popular Korean TV show Running Man was here for filming. It's a heritage site too.

Had to drag my bestie Chernie along!

After paying $2 each as entry fee, we started our "window shopping" in amusement!

Designers came from all over Australia with their uniquely decorated stalls.

Also got a few macaron-looking cookies to share with Chernie. Had a little "picnic" session outside of the Royal Exhibition Building after we finished "shopping".

Ending with the polaroids that we took on that day!

Till next time guys!
