After paying a visit to the Finders Keepers Designer Market, I had been keeping an eye on more designer markets that are to be held in Melbourne.

Again, with the help of Facebook, I discovered Markit that was to be held at Federation Square. Since it was only a 1-Day event, I marked it down on my calendar just so that I wouldn't forget it.

Markit gathered 100 independent designers across Australia to show off their masterpieces.

This is why I love designer markets because you get to admire the creativity and art in all forms.

I bought NOTHING again...HAHA...All because everything was quite pricey T_T

To my surprise, the event wasn't as big-scaled as I imagined, I doubt there were 100 stalls for 100 designers though...

Anyway, I did have a great 45-minute "window shopping" over there and took all these photos!

Looking forward to visiting the next designer market in Melbourne :D

I was very lucky to be chosen by Fairmont Hotels to come up with an outfit post for a Wine & Dine event at their San Jose Hotel

The invitation was too surreal for me because I have never imagined that one day I would be invited to write a fashion blog post, let alone being contacted by such a prestigious hotel like this!!!

So here is my take on it.

Since I am not very tall, I do not have the privilege to be able to pull off those long dreamy maxi dresses T_T That's my dream though...to be able to wear a Tiffany blue maxi dress.

Although purple is not on my favourite-colour list, I cannot deny the fact that purple does give out an elegant and mysterious vibe.

A pair of minimalist white heels goes well with nearly everything.

I like the fact that this dress has a very significant layering design and that really spices up the look without needing any accessories at all.

Also, as the dress has a very special design around the neck, I didn't want to go overboard with some excessive and unnecessary necklaces and earrings.

I only wore a silver watch to keep the elegance of the entire look.

My tip for girls who are around my height - 1.6m, I encourage you to wear a dress of the length that is not over your knees so you can keep the illusion of long legs :p Go with heels as high as possible because that will just make your legs appear even longer and slimmer. Too bad I am having a constant backache these days, if not I would definitely opt for taller pair of heels.

Shot this set of photos at the State Library with the help of my housemate, who's my personal photographer and I love her!!
